“At times our own light goes out and is rekindled by a spark from another person. Each of us has cause to think with deep gratitude of those who have lighted the flame within us.”
Albert Schweitzer
Let’s think about that, this Thanksgiving week.
About all the times that your light went out—work evaporating, the loss of a dear one, addiction, a creative wasteland, illness.
Remember how you came out of it?
Chances are, someone—maybe even a relative stranger—saw something in you that you were unable to recognize right then.
It may have come wrapped in kindness or a hefty dose of tough love, but it came, at exactly the right time.
And your light was rekindled.
You felt validated. Inspired. Grateful.
What better way to ring in Thanksgiving?
As always, you provide some of the hefty dose of friendship we all require. Happy Thanksgiving and keep up this wonderful work! Carleen
Thanks dear Carleen. And a happy Thanksgiving to you and yours!
Each of us no doubt have had the fortune of benefitting from from help or advice. What better time than the eve of Thanksgiving to express gratitude to those caring and helpful folks.
Happy Thanksgiving!
