Twitch vs. Phenomenon

A twitch is a small movement. A jerk of the head. A lean forward.
But a phenomenon is something different.
It’s extraordinary—epic even.
Most of us are working on twitches. Tweaking a service offering. Tinkering with content. Fussing with details.
Twitches consume our energy and use precious resources. They can even fool us into thinking we’re moving forward when we’re really just delaying epic.
So the next time you’re tempted to twitch on something important, stop. Try waiting at least 24 hours to see if there isn’t something bigger you can make happen.
Creating a phenomenon doesn’t happen by thinking small.
